The Day After. The only toy that got any attention was the Polar Express train. Around and around and around and around and around. It gave me a headache, to be honest.
Working on a project with Grandma and Daddy.
For his birthday (Dec. 31st) we took a trip to Newport to visit Grandma Judy. Went straight to the waterfront.
Please notice the boat's name. Thought it was a little interesting.
Stayed at a condo at Nye Beach that had a loft. Quinn was very excited about it.
Dinner at the Chowder House. I know, it looks like we sprung for a beer for the little guy, but it's just fancy root beer. Really.
Erick and his mom had some beer, though, and did a bit of a comparing.
Quinn thought this chair was the coolest thing.
Can I just say how Much Better this Canon is than that crappy Nikon?? There is no comparison in the pictures. The proof?
The morning before Quinn's birthday - a little wrestling match.
They brought along a Lego truck to put together and spent quite a bit of time at it.
But time was a-wastin', so out to the beach we went. It was sunny and surprisingly warm.
Hanging out on the stairs. We don't have any in our house so they were an attraction.
Quinn developed this pimple thing that developed into a very sore nose. It was Not Pretty.
Had to make the birthday cake. Requested? Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
Then out to dinner at the local beatnik place. It was funky, it was cool, and there was live music. The food was amazing. Quinn and Daddy shared a berry cobbler.
