Yesterday we went to the annual fundraiser for Impact Northwest, a local nonprofit. It was a beautiful day and we'd never gone before so off we went on lightrail.
Sand in the City= tons of sand dumped in Pioneer Courthouse Square for people to 'carve'.
It was fun. Beautiful weather, hotdogs, face painting, lemonade, balloon, sand, music.

oh my gosh. you're right. i completely forgot that was this weekend. looks like you guys had fun. ;) i wonder who gets to sweep up the sand ...or where it goes when they're done with it ...
