Wanting to be like the Big Boys down the street

Last night was...interesting. We ate outside on the deck because it was such a warm evening, but beforehand, Quinn decided that the deck needed a quick cleaning. Seems that the many birds we have living in our backyard tend to...let loose...on the deck somewhat frequently.

So, gave Quinn a scrub brush and some water and he went to work ridding the deck of all the white spots. Kept him busy for quite a long time. Wonder how long this industrious phase will last...


Since they were outside Quinn took to his bike. On one of the many trips up the street and back, they met up with some older kids. Due to the warm weather they had their shirts off. Daddy explained that sometimes boys take their shirts off outside when it is hot.

I especially like that his shorts are unsnapped and you can see his underwear. The makings of a punk, I'm pretty sure. : )
