A handyman without the crack

The other night we put a pizza in the oven and waited the requisite ten minutes. It didn't fill the kitchen with those yummy pizza-baking smells. It was still raw. The oven wasn't working.

Nothing we did fixed it - and a special note: never try to heat a pizza with the broiler.

So, a call went out to our landlord, Fred. He was on it in a flash.

Of course, Quinn wanted to help him, so he held the flashlight:

I'm telling you, this child is ready for a job!

After a trip with Dad this weekend, they came back with plastic eggs. Quinn wanted to make "a bunch of shakers". So, craft time was hatched. Ha ha.

A little white rice (we've had this bag around for years 'cause we're a brown rice type family) and tape and we are now the proud owners of twelve, count 'em, twelve egg shakers.
