Quinn loves, loves, loves to hang out at his table. He colors, draws pictures, etc. Ever since Erick worked so much in August Quinn now goes to his table and works on 'reports'. He's named his room 'Nin' which is his 'workshop'. Best not interrupt him when he's working on the reports, 'cause he will tell you in the kindest way to 'leave him alone'.
He also has a few workbooks that we work in almost every day. You know the thing - phonics, match prep stuff, etc. He loves it and is now pulling them out on his own and 'getting down to business'.

Right before bedtime the other night the boys shared the chair while watching the last bit of a ballgame.
Last Friday when I couldn't come up with anything unique to do, we just broke out the sidewalk chalk and set Quinn to making a road.

And inside, a track.

This is a dahlia Quinn found laid over in the garden. It is the color of butter and is as big as his head.

Expecting temps in the 90's this coming week, so we will take advantage and do the rounds of places we love before the end of summer.
