Riding on the Max

Since we didn't get around to it last weekend, we spent Sunday taking the new Max train line downtown. The station at Clackamas Town Center is a few minutes from our house and is so new and easy to get to.

Quinn loved the ride. One problem, though. He got a little annoyed that we had to keep stopping. Even after explaining that this is what commuter trains DO - stop and pick people up and let them off, you still thought it was 'too much stopping going on around here'.
We waundered around downtown with no particular purpose in mind; the train ride was really the entire point of the trip.

We ended up in the park blocks at Portland State. The benches just became trains for Quinn and he took Daddy along.

Had to stop here and take a quick picture with the dog.

Back at Clackamas Town Center a few hours later. There were quite a few people on the train, but you were too busy watching traffic and other trains to notice. Once home a little late lunch and a Nap. Hallelujah.

We will be using the Max as much as possible, especially for trips to the zoo or Children's Museum.
