Birthdays and such

Last week was our pal, Val's, birthday, so we had her over for dinner. We ate, opened her Valentine's and birthday presents, then Quinn insisted she come into his room and play trains with him. It is is favorite thing these days and has had a track set out on his floor for a month.

Quinn thinks Val is about the coolest around, and thinks nothing of using her for a rest.

There was actually some interest in the new bicycle the other day. This is not a child who just likes to jump in a try something. He has to live with it and marinate for a bit first.

And art is our new found mood elevator and pasttime. Been doing everything from watercolors to full-blown art projects.

Any self-respecting artist needs a little music while he creates.
