A man's work is never done

This past weekend, Quinn and Erick headed to Union to help our friend, Bradley G. (as he is affectionately called), finish preparing the elk he got this season. The plan was to grind the last of the meat into burger; this is one of Quinn's favorite tasks, as it involves the grinder and lots of noise. So, off they went early Sunday morning. I stayed at home. Blessedly.

Bradley requested that Quinn model his Halloween costume, and Quinn decided to just wear it during the entire visit. It seems that a lot of work got done. Quinn assisted by taking care of the cashews that were everywhere...

But he did help with the wrapping. Please note the nice "Q" he did himself:

Back to the cashews:

And no visit to Bradley G. would be complete without a lot of time spent checking out his ceiling fan:

...and eating cashews while watching the fan...

It's no wonder he came home exhausted and groggily asked me to take off his shoes so he could lay down. And his ears were all red from being bent over by his chef's hat for four hours. I tell ya, the price that is paid...

Cute! And yay for you that you got a little "me" time. Or "you" time. However that goes...

Seriously, the kid loves ceiling fans. They are quite interesting, right? Too cute!
